After a myriad of law shows in the pop culture lexicon, David E. Kelley brought us a taut, character-driven drama of a budding new firm battling everything. The Practice was a fresh take with new faces – specifically Dylan McDermott. They were Underdog defense attorneys trying to maintain a sense of integrity with temptation all around. With talent like Camryn Manheim, Steve Harris and Laura Flynn Boyle the show pushed the boundaries before the FXs and AMCs. And the theme was bonkers.
P.S. The series died when James Spader arrived and received the spinoff Boston Legal.
